2019 Find a Cure For Cancer Scavenger Hunt
The Find a Cure for Cancer Scavenger Hunt is in memory of Jessica’s mother, Marissa, whom she lost to cancer in 2012. Since then the event has sold out venues and has taken over downtown Geneva, St. Charles, and Batavia. Over 300 people come together annually to memorialize someone they lost to cancer or pay tribute to someone who is fighting the battle. We won’t stop fighting until there is a cure.
Annual Find a Cure for Cancer Scavenger Hunt
In year’s past, the event raised funds for LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, Illinois.
Get Creative!
Teams of 4, team costume, team name, comfy shoes and a cell phone are all that’s needed to make the night memorable.
On Your Mark...
Teams are given a guided list to navigate a downtown area. Stores and restaurants will be expecting you! First team back with everything on the list, before the deadline, wins a prize. Prizes will also be awarded for best team spirit and costume.
Support the Cause
The event has grown larger every year of its existence. In 2020, we sold out Hotel Baker in St. Charles, IL by hosting over 200 participants in costume to “Find a Cure for Cancer.” To date the Find a Cure has raised over $70,000+ for LivingWell Cancer Resource Center.
